The State of Illinois and all
home inspection organizations mandate the minimum inspection
protocol through their Standards of Practice regulations.
I go above and beyond the
regulations by:
- Checking for gas leaks at easily accessible
fittings inside and out,
- Carrying a non-intrusive moisture
meter if any areas are stained and the client requests a test on
such area,
- Carrying at least 3 ladders in order to access
most any roof or attic
If mold is
present, I can test for air quality if requested by the client,
for an additional fee.
 The inspection is not limited
